I was tasked with re-creating vinyl door panels for a client that had his truck repainted. They had expressed that the new overall design needed to capture the original “look” in order to maintain brand recognition, but to modernize & improve upon it. As a result, I had chosen to use stronger, bolder fonts in order to help with legibility and professionalism. I had also chosen to replace the original symbol of a lift truck that was being used as it looked too much like a cartoon. By using a reference photo of the lift truck, I was able to create a silhouette that provides the tougher, modern look that the client had requested.

Toss in a window banner and some extra vinyl strips on the rear and this truck looked ready to race off to its next job!

This is an example of my favorite kind of job that comes through the doors of the shop.
A task with endless outcomes; something that has to be hand crafted completely from the ground up.
